okay, I realize this is the very pettiest of possible pet peeves, /but/

whenever I see someone say something to the effect that being a character apologist means you think they need to say sorry for what they've done wrong (whether it's I'm not an X apologist because X hasn't done anything to apologize for or I call myself an X apologist because I think X has done things they need to apologize for), I TWITCH. HUGELY.

a) that is not what that word means
