How would your characters live out their twilight years? Peaceful retirement? Never stop doing what they do? Die an early death?
For all the Chua? None of them expect to live long lives. Retirement isn’t a notion Chua entertain. They’d continue indefinitely in their positions until they’re killed in accidents or expire. I could see Dajia being the one who actually lasts given its position within the Church. Actually, Sweetling too as a paper pusher/Handler within the ICI. They both have oddly sedentary jobs. Sweetling would try to settle down and have as many offspring as possible in the hopes some live. Dajia? Never happening.Given who Satin was inspired by, he’ll most likely and unfortunately meet an untimely end in his endless quest to prove himself. He’ll stick his nose or a hand in a place he shouldn’t and be taken out for it.Chepi is all but retired as is as she lives within an Aurin village, rather isolated away from others. It’s spending her days caring for pumera, tending the village grounds, and meditation for her.Poor Sky and lucky Charmaine will live forever in their current states. Sky will roam listless and possibly overdose due to no direction in her life, while I can see Charmaine becoming a Matron of a Brothel to watch over others through the years while entertaining plenty of customers in her bed.Starling will shelter herself further in the sanctuary Greysky offers and quietly continue her research. I can see her either settling down with Lou or wandering off to never be seen again as she feels she can never be fully a part of the Exiles.Echo will gain rank within the military, continuing her Torine training on the side. Possibly a hybrid unit is created so Swordmaidens within the Dominion can properly exist on Nexus. She’ll retire a well decorated military woman.Now Sly will continue as she does, as these days her drug empire practically runs itself. If the Exiles ever shape up and start properly cracking down on illicit drugs? She’ll quietly dwindle in that regard and maybe take a page from famous RL mob bosses and go into politics. :D
