still here just exhausted, by the way

I haven’t had the energy to do more than just idly scroll the dashboard for a while, so I apologise for the lack of acknowledgement of (for example) the things in my inbox, which I do want to say I greatly appreciate and am aware of. I am also aware I have not been commenting on others’ posts as often as I otherwise try to ‑ I hope that me doing so isn’t an overstep when I do it, but no-one’s said it is so far, so that’s always a good sign to keep going.

I won’t be able to prepare anything for the Ides of March this year, amusing though it has been to have posted selfship things on the date before.. but it is Yi Xi’s birthday (/release anniversary), which - combined with her box art letters ‑ probably explains a fair bit of how she’s characterised in her Vimalion Project design (the one that was used for Butcher Vanity). I may still be trying to make my own personal design for her, which talking to my friend has helped me with (thanks Clue!), but I still find it funny to acknowledge that~

It’s probably going to end up being midnight by the time I actually go to bed, and I am sorely tempted to turn off my alarm or at least set it back an hour because of such, but.. I hope that tomorrow treats everyone kindly

On a half-related note, a word of advice: perhaps refrain from putting your fankid in a game with very different outfit styles to the ones you've already put your F/O and self-insert in >w<

I realised I hadn’t made a selfship piece for this month yet, despite having had an idea for what I could do. So I’m currently in the process of trying to make that, so I can share it with all of you.. but I’m slowly realising how tricky a task I may have set myself here ;w;

(I don’t want to spoil what it’s going to be of, but.. I will say that it’s the same selfship and verse as last month’s piece! Hopefully I can get it done by the end of the day~)

#heart of the void ❀#selfshipping #..sort of #suffice it to say: the camera in MMD doesn’t like being in strange positions #I already knew that it didn’t like being upside-down but it generally seems to run into problems when you’re anywhere other than the centre #so instead of setting up the backgrounds and then moving the character models to fit where they fall #I think I’m going to need to do it the other way around #but I will get there! I think.#I also need to do about four more pieces for artfight and I’ve only started one of them #so.. that’s also something I need to try and get done. but maybe I can do this for myself first

I’m going to a convention tomorrow, so I might not be around on here too much, but I’ll try to keep an eye out for any merch that features friends’ F/Os! If there’s anyone in particular whom you’d like me to look for (so that I can send you pictures), please just say the word and I’ll do my best to find you something!~

(..I highly doubt that anyone here is going to the same convention, but I have seen people meet up with online friends or mutuals at these sorts of events before. So, on the off chance that anyone I know here is going there as well tomorrow, PLEASE let me know!! It’d be so cool to see you in person!!~)

I realised.. yesterday? Sunday? that I could describe Techne as “the Player that never was” (like, say, The World That Never Was). Not only did I use them as my player character/version of the player during the Missing Link betas, and fully intended to keep using them as such once the game came out, but they’re also (technically) Clio’s Nobody, which goes along with how The World That Never Was was the base of operations for the Organisation.

So now I’m just thinking a lot about them and my selfship with Clio and how my self-inserts fit into Kingdom Hearts and just. Everything ;w;

I really hope I get to play as them again someday, somehow

The Dandelions and I are about to go and hunt for the bluefeather lynx in FFXIV.
