couldn't resist making a little edit of this too! willow's whole house is basically a library, with bookshelves taking up majority of the wall space, so it would be impossible to list everything she has on there -- a post for another day, i fear.

so firstly, her collection of classics is extensive. mostly consists of old second hand copies which have been well loved and worn down, plays, poetry collections and fiction books. a lot of these are old just by account of willow having owned them for a very long time, and she isn't very precious about the condition of her books either.

she has some nice old leatherbound copies of books, some clothbound hardbacks too, which she likes to use for display but worries about taking them anywhere to read since they're a little older, more delicate and expensive.

a few copies of her own books are on the shelves as well, including a special copy of once possessed that hawk gifted her for her birthday, a lot of the words sharpied out to make a book of blackout poetry.

aside from books, willow has candles (never lit while on the shelves) and a few trinkets she likes to keep on her shelves. she collects little cats, mostly, but any small, cute animal trinket she can get her hands on will usually end up on display in her home.

willow does not travel light - but she tries. her purses are never that big, so she keeps to miniature things that will travel well such as travel-size perfume bottles, lip balms that can double as lip-gloss or blush, mini-notebooks for commonplace note-taking and journalling, and copies of books she doesn't mind getting a little battered in her bag.

she also tries to carry things that she thinks will be useful in a pinch. some of her friends smoke, so she carries a lighter just to be useful despite the fact most of them elect to hold off on smoking when she's around, aspirin or ibuprofen for if she or somebody she's with needs pain relief... she used to carry a tin of xanax around, but she hasn't renewed her prescription since she went off her prozac.

willow used to hope that z would kill her during sex but he never delivered on that! getting drained half-dead is one of her biggest turn-ons though. once she had to explain that to taylor and the absolute horror on her face was enough to make willow reconsider ever telling anybody about it ever again.

willow has a lot of toys thanks to repeat visits to the hedonist + gifts from hawk and salem. she doesn't use them much, prefers to just use her hands when she is alone. with other people she's more likely to go with whatever they want to do, offer what she has but could take or leave it. if a partner wants to use anything on her, she's more than happy to oblige.

you will be hard-pressed to find willow not wearing something silky, lacy or sexy on any given day. she likes to dress herself up, even if she's in really casual clothing, you bet she's got something going on underneath it!

a protector. willow lived her whole life a vulnerable and lonely creature, when she was possessed she felt for the first time like she wasn't completely alone in her situation, and that's kind of a high she's been chasing ever since. "why does she keep putting herself in danger nowadays then?" well how else is she supposed to see who will protect her if she isn't in peril? hm?

willow loves to tell people why she's called willow and then watching the look of concern on people's faces when she gets to the end.

i think they would if willow herself wasn't so nervous about animals to start with. nowadays she has less anxiety surrounding animals so it's less of an issue but prior to this i do think her nervous energy was off-putting when it came to creatures big and small.

[ 🦇 ]ㅤ.ㅤwhat is a fear they never talk about ?

that people will think she is a bad person. which she is, but she doesn't want outright acknowledgement of it. petrified of being outcast by the people that made her feel like she was worth loving in the first place for her pretty extreme character flaws. naturally this is about the only fear she never openly talks about because she doesn't want to draw attention to the fact that she's "bad" .

i already answered this one but i have a few verses where this varies so :) zombieverse willow's love language is gift giving. since luxury goods are obviously scarce in the apocalypse she looks out for anything nice she could repurpose or recycle for her loved ones and will spend a loooot of time working on them to make them nice.

acts of service. maybe to an unhealthy degree? she loves in an entirely consuming way, which frightens her, so she flips the script on her loved ones to avoid feeling too needy and overbearing by giving and giving and giving in an equally overbearing fashion. the idea of self-sacrifice or being consumed by a partner.................... you get it
