Day 58 of drawing pokemon from memory, accidentally created the Poliwag of anguish and suffering
Speedpaint here!
you know when itty bitty tadpoles start first developing the nubbies for all their limbs... yea... it still prefers to stay in the water though, its hard walking with all those little legs!
apparently in the German dub, Applejack says "schätzchen" instead of Sally. schätzchen can translate to dear, honey, baby, sweetie etc 🙃
0060 - Poliwag
The Tadpole Pokemon
Water
2' - Around the size of a Two-Toed Sloth.
27.3 lbs - Around the weight of a 2-Year-Old.
From the Kanto region.
Equally male and female species.
Evolves into Poliwhirl (0061)
Info:
Poliwag is not very good at walking, and usually prefers swimming, though they do often love coming up to shore to waddle around, so Trainers should train Poliwag to walk every day.
The direction of Poliwag's spiral differs by area, and it is thought that the direction if affected by the equator.
The swirl on Poliwag's stomach is nearly clear and you can see its insides through it, and when Poliwag eats the swirl gets clearer, but if the swirl is tinged white then the Poliwag is sick.
Poliwag have very thin skin, but it is very flexible so even the sharpest of fangs bounce right off of it.
In rivers with fast moving water, Poliwag will cling to rocks by using its lips like a suction cup.
