Chapter 8: Long-Term Maintenance
Alex Turner has always been clean shaven. He doesn’t know what he looks like with facial hair and he doesn’t know why he’s waited so long to find out. A story about growing a beard, found family, and the many facets of love.

00QAD heacanon
Alex was saved in the nick of time, but still had to leave, and being angry at the people and the system ended up dropping off the radar and turning his skills to trying to find information to expose the corrupt and nefarious deeds of the government. But Danny, believing he was gone set out on his own mission of revenge, learning to code, and getting swept up into 6 as a way of keeping him "silent" and "under control". But he still has a purpose he keeps hidden, planning to rise through the ranks and get access to everything he can, and he eventually gets promoted to the Quartermaster position.
As Q, he finds himself pitted against an unknown hacker that is trying to crack his system, and they end up testing each other repeatedly, the hacker trying to gain access, and q-branch trying to track him down, until Q think he's found an opening and the hacker expresses his anger at being torn from the one he loved, from the life he could and should have had, and he won't stop until the government pays... and the gears are turning.... Q finds a way to reach out and offer an alliance, not yet realising who it is

007 Fest Headcanon Day - 00QAD!
Inspired by @a-forger-and-a-point-man, please have some 00QAD pride day headcanons!
Danny and James go all out for pride day. Danny loves to dress up and have fun and James just likes the excuse to wear something with a lot less coverage than his daily suits.
Alex and Q tend to be more subdued, but both wear more color today of course.
Both Q and Danny have tinsel and temporary dye in their hair for pride. It doesn’t come out as well as either would have hoped so both end up looking like they have rainbow hair for at least a week after.
Q doesn't like loud crowds, but he makes an exception for pride day because he knows how important it is to celebrate.
Alex absolutely joins in on the Ace pride section of the parade and will talk to anyone with an ear about how Ace people deserve to be a part of Pride and doesn't tolerate ace-phobia. Q joins him to show support and will absolutely punch someone for making rude comments to other ace people, but especially Alex.
As a matter of fact none of them tolerate ace- OR bi-phobia and everyone wears pins and other signs that say things like “no room for queer-phobia”, “ace people are queer and belong here” and “bi-phobes not welcome at pride”
If you give Danny enough drinks, he will absolutely dance on a float and join whoever was originally supposed to be there. James doesn’t even need a drink to do this, and will encourage Danny as much as possible.
Pam and Turing both get to go to pride day in special cat carrier/strollers. Pam of course gets the best spot and has a shiny rainbow collar and some cat safe temporary dye on her ears and tail floof.

HOTTEST DAY ON RECORD IN THE UK 40.3 C - 00QAD Headcanons
Danny is dressed in a string vest and denim shorts that aren't as short as they used to be but no one is complaining. He and Turing have done their checks making sure all the older neighbours are okay and are now longing in the shade of the block's private garden. "No James we can't have a barbeque didn't you hear what the mayor said"
Bond looks like an over-the-hill-gigolo in linen trousers a sand-washed blue silk shirt that doesn't really doesn't need that many buttons undone and a can of Red Stripe fresh out of the cooler.
@princesspampuria is lounging on her umteenth cooling gel pad from the freezer and eating foie gras ice cream and frozen catinis "GRAMPS, I NEED MORE CHOP! CHOP!"
Alex is making sure everyone is hydrated with smoothes and electrolyte drinks and healthy snacks.
Q is locked in his room with foil lining the windows, ice packs strapped to his body complaining that he "isn't made for this".
Turing is the only one who isn't flustered by this not even one tiny bit
One thing is for sure they are all really looking forward to escaping to their Annual month-long trip to SkyFall
