Prompt: Syllables
Underwhelmed
Golden eyes gazing
At the approaching storm cloud
From behind a pair of silver lenses
Universe in tumult, backwards into the future
We churn blindly and become again like so much primordial soup.
Electric mud tornado closes the distance to the eyes, heedless
Of the glass that separates them. Will it hold? Or will the illusion shatter?
The image of safety - soap bubble paradise - pops and spills her uncompassion on the dirty ground.
