(( ~ @celine-dahl ~ ))
Celine was going to kill her. Worse. Celine was going to judge her. Victoria had known of the mercenary woman for too many years to not have picked up things from her. To know how to keep calm in dangerous situations. To not be taken off guard when someone shows up unannounced. These were things that Vivi had known and had learned, but after the last few days, it seemed like it was all for naught. She was left frozen in the wedding, unable to use her legs because she was paralyzed with fear. She was incredibly jumpy in the woods, being caught off guard one too many times and her heart racing because she had no idea they were there. Vivi was someone that had learned to operate in the shadows, but somehow she was walking into the light and it was clearing away the important things she should have ingrained in her mind.
But there were more things she needed to know and for that, there was only one person she needed to talk to, fear of being laughed at and judged aside. Celine Dahl was the only woman that Vivi would want to go to for this, to train her to not be defenseless and relying on someone else to help her. She couldn’t always count on James or Oakley to come in and save her ass. No, if Vivi intended to make it through this war, she can’t just stay on the sidelines and just hope she didn’t walk into the middle of a battle. Vivi needed to know how to protect herself and anyone else if that was going to be the case.
Vivi made it to the spot she always met Celine, marked only by the faintest of differences from their surroundings. She wasn’t even sure if the woman was going to show up, much less be alive at this point. All Vivi could do was wait patiently.
