VERSE OF THE DAY:
1 CORINTHIANS 10:31
So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
CHOOSING HIM
Making decisions is hard.
When we attempt to make a perfect decision, we can often find ourselves stuck in indecision. And while we should always prayerfully discern our next steps according to God's Word and His ways, sometimes we overcomplicate things.
In His first letter to the Corinthians, the apostle Paul was addressing an issue about food, regarding what they should or shouldn't eat. So Paul took some of the pressure off Christians. While this passage was originally about food, the principle can be applied to any area of life. Whatever choice you make, so it to glorify God. In this way, you will keep your conscience clear.
Whether you're preparing a mean or making a business deal. Whether you're playing sports or building houses. Whether you're leading a team or raising kids. Whether you're crunching numbers or caring for the vulnerable.
No matter what you so-the core desire should be to love God and love others, and every decision should exemplify that love. So today, ask yourself: Does this decision honor God? Is this choice full of integrity? Can others see His character shining through my life? Will my decision draw people closer to God, or pull them away from Him?
No matter what situation we're in, God has given us His Word, His Spirit, and His people to help up discern our next right thing. So when making decisions, let's seek to honor God to the nest of our ability, and then truth Him with our choices.
SHARE YOUR FAITH
Whatever you do, today and everyday, glorify God to the best of your ability and then? Trust that He is working.
One sure way to glorify God is to share His Word!
be intentional to share your faith.
God, whatever I do, please help me to do it for Your glory. When I'm talking to other people-let it be for Your glory. When I'm working-let it be for Your glory. When I'm spending time with family and friends -let it be for Your glory. In all that I say and do, let me do it for You. In Jesus' name, Amen.
KEEP GOING
If you want to build a habit that lasts, it starts with making a daily commitment.
DEUTERONOMY 6:4
Listen, O Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord alone.
Read this passage again, and think about what it means to be personally known by the one, true God.
Sit with this passage for a few minutes, and honor God with your time.
1 CORINTHIANS 6:12
You say, "I am allowed to do anything"- but not everything is good for you. And even though "I am allowed to do anything," I must not become a slave to anything.
Is there anything keeping you from drawing closer to God?
Be honest with Him about how you're doing, and voice your concerns.
God, I am so grateful that Your steadfast love endures forever. Thank You for giving me victory over sin, death, and darkness through Your Son, Jesus! As I think about what You have done for me, I am overwhelmed. You have been so good and faithful to me, Thank You! All glory is Yours, forever and ever. In Jesus' name, Amen.
What has God revealed to you through your prayer time? And what do you want to continue to talk to Him about today?
DAILY BIBLE READING:
GENESIS 18-19
MATTHEW 6:1-18
THREE VISITORS
Is anything too hard for the Lord? I will return to you at the appointed time next year, and Sarah will have a son.”
ABRAHAM PLEADS FOR SODOM
“Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do? 18Abraham will surely become a great and powerful nation, and all nations on earth will be blessed through him. 19For I have chosen him, so that he will direct his children and his household after him to keep the way of the Lord by doing what is right and just, so that the Lord will bring about for Abraham what he has promised him.”

PHILIPPIANS 4:1-3
CLOSING APPEAL FOR STEADFASTNESS AND UNITY
Therefore, my brothers and sisters, you whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, stand firm in the Lord in this way, dear friends!
2I plead with Euodia and I plead with Syntyche to be of the same mind in the Lord. 3Yes, and I ask you, my true companion, help these women since they have contended at my side in the cause of the gospel, along with Clement and the rest of my co-workers, whose names are in the book of life.
INSIGHT
In his letter to the Philippians, Paul calls on the believers in Jesus to rejoice no matter what circumstances they face (Philippians 4:4). He urges them to let go of personal pride and selfish ambition and continue to live in unity (see 2:3-4, 14; 4:2). They’re to have the same attitude that Christ had in order to live like Him (2:5-11). The apostle singled out two women—Euodia and Syntyche—whose personal rivalry was disrupting the church’s harmony. He urged them “to be of the same mind in the Lord” (4:2), echoing his earlier encouragement to be “like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind” (2:2). He also called on an unnamed member in the church to help repair this fractured fellowship (4:3).
When we face conflict with other believers, the Spirit will help us be peacemakers and to “make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace” (Ephesians 4:3).

THE BONE WARS
In the American West in the late 1800s, the search for dinosaur bones created the Bone Wars, in which two paleontologists battled one another in their pursuit of making the most historic find. One writer noted how the two “used underhanded methods to try to outdo the other in the field, resorting to bribery, theft, and the destruction of bones.” He noted how, in trying to ruin each other’s work, both destroyed their own reputations as well.
Conflict and competition are inevitable in our broken world. How we choose to engage those conflicts reveals what’s in our hearts. Paul learned of conflict between two women in the church at Philippi and wrote, “I plead with Euodia and I plead with Syntyche to be of the same mind in the Lord.” He asked a fellow believer to “help these women since they have contended at my side in the cause of the gospel” (Philippians 4:2-3).
When we find ourselves at odds with fellow believers in Jesus, we need the Spirit’s help. As we submit to His work in our hearts, He’ll help us demonstrate the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). We’ll experience healing and peace—if not for our own reputations, for the reputation of Christ and the gospel.

REFLECT AND PRAY
What conflicts do you face today? How could the peace of the Spirit make a difference in resolving them?
Loving Father, it must break Your heart when I war with my brothers and sisters in Christ. Please give me Your wisdom and the aid of the Spirit to bring healing and unity. in Jesus' name, Amen.
RESTORED: WHEN WHO YOU ARE STARTS TO SLIP AWAY
WHEN YOU DON'T RECOGNIZE YOURSELF ANYMORE
There comes a point in every woman’s life when she looks in the mirror and quietly asks:
“Who am I now?”
Maybe it came after your kids grew up, or after the divorce. Maybe your title changed, your confidence shifted, or your reflection no longer matches the way you once moved through the world. Maybe you’ve outgrown a version of yourself that once felt like home.
Today, we’re naming the quiet grief of identity loss. Not because you failed, but because you’ve evolved. And when you evolve, some things have to fall away: roles, routines, relationships, and even the language you used to define yourself.
No one tells you that purpose might start with disorientation. No one warns you that healing can feel like heartbreak.
But God is not confused by your transformation—He’s the Author of it. From Abram to Abraham. Sarai to Sarah. Simon to Peter. Throughout Scripture, God consistently calls His people out of old names and into new ones. He rewrites identity as part of His purpose process. But we often forget that transformation doesn’t always feel triumphant—it sometimes feels like grief.
Because some things don’t die all at once. Sometimes, they fade slowly:
The woman you were before the diagnosis
The girl who believed without hesitation
The version of you who didn’t need extra time to heal
We carry shame for grieving these versions of ourselves. But hear this clearly: Your grief is not a sign of rebellion; it’s evidence that you’re healing and in transition.
Your “old self” was never the enemy.
She was the survivor.
She was the protector.
She was the best you knew how to be.
But God is inviting you into more and more often begins with loss.
This isn’t regression.
It’s release.
A sacred letting go of who you had to be, so you can become who you were created to be.
Sacred Step
Take time to journal through this question today:
What identity or role did I once wear proudly that no longer fits, and why is it hard to release?
Give yourself grace to answer honestly. You are not broken. You are being rebuilt.
And then pray this aloud:
God, You see the version of me I’m quietly mourning—the one who felt sure, secure, steady. The one who didn’t feel so stretched. I bless her for getting me this far. But I release her into Your hands. Make space in me for the new thing You’re doing. Help me not to confuse loss with failure, but to see it as the evidence of transformation. Even when I don’t recognize myself, remind me I am never unknown to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
ISAIAH 43:18-19
Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs us; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.
2 CORINTHIANS 5:7
For we live by faith, not by sight.
ECCLESIASTES 3:1-6
There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:
2a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
3a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
4a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
5a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
6a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
