There were few things that would get Magda to work on one of her nights off—if one of her fave girls was on, maybe, or if she was taking friends in, but that was literally it. She was trying to get Donato to loosen up a little. Raziel’s right-hand-man was a sometime friend of hers, but they weren’t as close as they could be, and he had always been reserved—even before the world went off the rails. “Never have I ever met someone with so many years under their belt who was so bored by everything,” she teased, twirling around on him and playing with his lapel. She was dressed comfortably tonight—not badly so as to disrespect the establishment—but just black skinny jeans and a soft, grey off the shoulder blouse, exposing rhinestone bra straps. Around her neck was the magpie necklace Raziel had gifted her. “You promised you’d try to have a good time,” she said, smiling up at him with genuine effort to make that happen. “Raziel’s a vodka man, how about you?”

02.08.17 and for some reason, today they decided not to have a snow day. vickie got stuck in a chair, Z sat in english with us, the sky poured rain and snow, facetime and oovoo sessions with avery and vickie watching episodes of baby daddy and being completely lost, and spending 5 hours trying to make sense of the nonsensical (algebra).

I swear that game was ridiculous. That non-call on that offside goal was just frustrating. That goal CLEARLY shouldn’t have counted. They need to seriously fix their replay system. Cuz this “inconclusive” calls are just another way for the other team to get away with a goal that shouldn’t be allowed to begin with.
