Korean thing
february fifteenth, twenty-eighteen
the older i get the more i come to realize how warm it feels to experience joy for others and their success, accomplishments and happiness. to be able to smile and genuinely wish them well, for something that isn't directly benefitting you.
my mom went back to school, and she's so happy to tell me about her professors, classmates, schoolwork and classes. i know that she's nervous but there's this youthful bliss in her spirit that i can see. it makes me so happy and fully of pride i could burst. i'm happy for her, happy that she's expanding her horizon and on a new journey... i hope she enjoys this experience and cherishes it when it becomes too difficult to enjoy.
