Holy shit, you remember the Hives from about 10 years ago? You know, they had some catchy songs you might have listened to while you were younger? Right! They actually are one of the most exciting live shows I’ve ever seen. Last year at Riot Fest, they boasted one of the largest crowds of the weekend, drawing in a massive throng of people in the middle of the blinding hot sun, and for about 45 minutes they threw a fucking party in the middle of a fucking rock show. If you have the chance, go see them live and you will thank me later.

I have decided as of today, the anniversary of Kurt Cobain’s death to share music on a daily basis. A favorite tune or whatever. 

Ironically, I’m sharing a B-side of Radiohead that was written for Harry Patch, the last survivor from England to have fought in WWI. 

The orchestral work in this piece is phenomenal. I do not get tired of talking, sharing or loving Radiohead. This band breathes life to me. 

The lyrics use many of the words Patch used when describing war. The band took the single, && the money garnered was donated to the Royal British Legion. 

I share with you this song. Love Radiohead. Learn to discover their beauty in their lyrics, musical arrangement, effective use of pauses && their unequivocal sound.
