ohh the up lyrics are so revealing about k’s pov regarding her career and personal life as well… i know she couldn’t wait to clap back and tell her side of the story in a subtle manner. Just bc i see some details of those fake news being rehashed here, i also remember when it came out how some people pointed out how it was weird jm would be walking to and from her date completely uncovered, like no hats no masks no hoodies no nothing, when they obviously know dating is a big scandal in the industry, especially for women and especially relatively early in their careers. Some people took it the wrong way and got angry saying she should be able to do whatever she wants and doesn’t need to hide but they were missing the point. The point being karina is highly aware of how the industry works and would never do sth like that so obvious and risking so much (we have talked here how much she wants to please fans and be liked and you think she would risk getting exposed over a 1 month situationship by not even covering slightly…). That and her manager being cut out of pics to make it look like she was on her own, just absolutely terrible…. So yeah she doesn’t leave no clues!!!

i am no longer mad at you and that’s ok. i understand more about myself and the things that i needed to do to grow away from the negativity. inside of my head, you made the bed and placed books upon fragile bookshelves— dropped carefully into my fingertips, a vibration that have since been stolen by a smile or two. i don’t know where we went wrong, but i get it now. the pain ends. songs stop being so depressing and life becomes more enjoyable as the days go by. sometimes i sit there and contemplate that it’s all temporary, but i see through it now. i needed to get hurt by you. i needed love from you more than i needed or wanted love from myself. and that was a problem. one that i see now. if you can’t fill your life up with different pieces of yourself to hold onto, you’re always going to feel a little bit lonely even if you have somebody holding you at night.
