Sunset by Pool

at dusk the blue-purple sky blushes pink-flamingo, shy from the attention, the marveled gazes at the majestic sky approaching night but its light never extinguished from the impressed mind repeating –– “this sky, look at this sky” –– if only the skull’s inside could be painted cerulean and imitate the blue above the sea, merging at the horizon, squinting out of perception leaving one cloud-streaked canvas sinking into colors to bring on the stars

Moon, II

an orange moon seen through blinds of the night sky speaks volumes of magic through the whooshing of the ocean throwing itself to sand-sunk feet navigating toward this distant light, stapled to the dark navy canvas of a universe stitched sea to sky that sings in whispers with the moon’s hymns hypnotizing the wandering souls at coast, steeped in wonder

full pancake in the sky holy halo of angelic song pasted above, unmoving, pulling the tide washing white to sand, a color of earth under moonlight, illuminating streaks of catharsis spilling like drinks on tongues eager to spill truths, confessing secrets of the moon, never too soon –– a tunnel of light in a black endless sky, channeling clarity as hands grasp at each other’s words, lastly
