When I think of my “happy place”, I’ve got so many reasons that my mind goes back to Sweden Maine and the five summers I spent at Camp Tapawingo. In the early months of dating my (now wife) back in 2012, I asked her if she’d like to come with me to my 100 year camp reunion to be held in 2019. It probably freaked her out, me asking her on a date for seven years in the future... but needless to say, I had a hunch it’d work out. ;) Anyways, not only was this past weekend the longest held date I’ve ever had on my calendar, but it was an amazing weekend getting to catch up with so many friends and also see plenty of kids that I knew would turn out to be awesome adult humans, turn into amazing adult humans. (I had a hunch it’d work out. ;) Also, it was great showing my wife a place that means so much to adult me.
