Warlord No. 276, dated 5 January 1980. They Flew for the R.A.F. cover by Jeff Bevan. Earlier versions of the Curtiss Kittyhawk were known by the R.A.F. as the Tomahawk. All the versions in US service were named the Warhawk. Famously the RAF painted the shark mouth design on the large radiator area, although this is not depicted above, and it was the first Allied plane of WW2 to feature this.
