Omg I was just reminded that I did SM yesterday with my new mystic and all was going well, you know?? I’d joined a party with a ninja, I believe, and then they had Instance Matched so when we went in, we had a full party. And like I said, all was going well. Everyone was fighting, I was watching health and healing and also trying to kill monsters so I didn’t feel completely useless when no one needed healing. That sorta thing.

We got through the first two bosses all right. No deaths. Though I did panic and get stressed when I noticed people were dropping in health while fighting the vampire lady and I couldn’t find them. I was lagging also, which helps nothing. lmao But still, I managed to heal and they killed the boss. So all was good. Then we head in to fight the vampire lord. And you know what happens?? Rather than deal with the guys in front of us upon entering the room, the ninja decides to go for the boss on her own. -_-

Now, now, now, now!!! As someone who soloed SM as ninja (and failed miserably with the last boss lel), I found out that the vampire lord was not as easy to defeat as the first two bosses. As I had expected. No, son. He fights back with ferocity! Which means, if you’re not fucking careful, he could also KILL you!! I don’t think he actually killed me when I fought him as ninja, but he came damn near close to it!!

So you can imagine what was going through my head when that ninja went at him head on while the other two were killing the spiky guys. Then when everyone else engaged him, I noticed the ninja’s health was dropping pretty fast and I tried very hard to locate them to heal, but they wound up dying. You know, thankfully, though, we get that one free revive so they revived and resumed fighting. I healed everyone else while avoiding getting hit as best I could, but fucking lag, man. Trying to find everyone who needs healing is stressful too. But I got them all healed and we moved on to the final boss. Where AMAZINGLY no one died!!

BUT LIKE COME ON!! Wait until everyone’s engaging the same monster before fucking pulling a boss like the vampire lord when everyone else wasn’t ready yet! Or maybe this ninja thought cos they were a ninja and very OP, they could take him on alone. NO!! Well, I mean, yes, but you gotta be fucking careful! I just--ugh. Whatever, man.

But during the last boss someone, and it makes me angry, was too fucking eager to get done, which I can understand, but like, there were still others who were fighting off the lancers and sorcerers when this asshole decided to break the stone in the middle. And I think someone else wanted to rest a bit and replenish stamina before diving into fighting the big boss, but the boss appeared not too long after everyone finished killing the lancers and sorcerers and this one player had placed down a campfire.

This is why I hate instance matching and why I’d rather go in with a group of people already standing around the dungeon teleportal. A group who will actually talk to each other. Cos when you instance match, you get people who want nothing more than to complete the dungeon as quickly as possible and won’t even wait on the rest of the group when they’re busy killing all the monsters for quests. Which, like, yeah, that’s understandable, but come on! You’re not the only one in the group. Going off ahead of the rest just cos you think you’re hot shit or want to complete it as soon as possible helps no one. You’re in a GROUP!

I mean, that run wasn’t bad as the healer of the party. Only one person died and I managed to keep everyone else alive (and they ofc managed to keep themselves alive too) and healed. I’ve been in many groups like that as other classes. I just hope that as I get my mystic to higher levels, I’m not faced with more people like that cos they’re the ones you gotta keep your eye on and follow when the others are still trying to kill monsters in the previous room. Or you gotta make the call to let them die for not sticking with the group. lmao

Still, it’s good practice for me. I still gotta remember where every skill is cos I sometimes forget. But it wasn’t that bad of a run. Smh.

So looks like third time was the charm! Finally killed all the furyguards in that office with all those not-very-quite-helpful NPCs, though tbh they became rather helpful in keeping some of them away from me so, like, they sorta redeemed themselves. lmao But I still died twice. :C HOWEVER, and very weirdly, I used two scrolls back to back and revived to continue kicking ass, which tbh is what helped me kill everyone cos I didn’t have to start it over like those other failed attempts. And I’m so happy. ;-; I was about to cry and give up ever trying to complete it.

I’m still not sure how I managed to use two scrolls back to back the way I did, but I am not complaining! I’m grateful! And why tf do they even have a goddamn 1hr cooldown. What kinda sick fucking joke is that?? If I die once and revive, I shouldn’t have to wait an hour to revive again if I die 5 minutes from my first death!! D:< I shouldn’t have to fucking start that shit over!

I’m bitter cos it’s been sO FUCKING HARD!! I just want to cry. ;-;

Now, if only I could stop dying during the whole “break the blood shards” part while fighting Dakuryon. Fucking christ. I get outta one pickle and right into another is2g. Smh. It’s so cheating when a boss calls upon minions to attack you. Fucking cheater!! ;-;

Idek anymore how many crystals I’ve lost to all this death. Tbh I think this is the most I’ve ever died. And I’ve died quite a bit through my travels to get to where I am now. lmao

On another note, I’ve had like two different people whisper me on my ninja but it’s not ever been a proper hello. It’s always some weird shit. Like, no. Don’t fucking whisper me as if we’ve already started a conversation when we haven’t. I only find it weird and chances are if it’s weird, I won’t be answering.

Like, someone literally said something about “Holocaust survivor” to me yesterday after talking about my Elin’s thighs (which literally was just “those thighs :3”). I can’t remember the whole Holocaust sentence anymore, but jfc what the actual fuck is that?? And then proceeded to say “SO HAWT AMIRITE??” Like, was that a continuation to the Holocaust thing?? Keep your weird jokes to yourself and don’t whisper me ever again. Jfc.

But yesterday I also met some nice people and spent a good long while conversing with them. So I had fun despite the anger at first and the weird whispers. I just--ugh. It’s TERA. There’s always weirdness.
