The One Direction boys are well-known for their experimental style.

And Louis Tomlinson underwent an image transformation of his own on Tuesday as he debuted his long lockdown locks while greeting fans in London.

The singer, 29, previously sported a neat side swept fringe but has grown his hair out during the pandemic into shoulder length curls.

Louis has become a fan of designer stubble in lockdown as he showcased a new five o'clock shadow after being clean shaven for years.

The heartthrob wore his new locks under a navy Polo Ralph Lauren cap as he made time for fans on the rare outing.

Ahead of the Euro 2020 semi-final this week, the rugged singer sported a vintage England football shirt with Steven Gerrard's name and number on the back.

Louis looked upbeat as he stepped out of his car in black trousers and crisp white trainers to spend some time with his devoted fans.

The pop star threw out a large wave at onlookers as he strode across the street to the waiting crowds.

Chatting to fans about England's upcoming game against Denmark on Wednesday, Louis revealed he predicted the Three Lions would beat their opponents 1-0.

Throwing out a thumbs up to cameras, Louis seemed in good spirits as he posed in his England shirt.

The outing comes as Louis recorded new music for fans after an online concert in December broke records making it the biggest male solo artist livestream of 2020.

Louis first appeared on The X Factor in 2010 where he failed to make it through to bootcamp as a solo performer, but instead, he joined the newly devised boyband, One Direction, following a suggestion from judge Nicole Scherzinger.

With new bandmates, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Niall Horan, One Direction made it through to the live shows before signing a £2million contract with Syco Records and finding chart-topping success.
