Song of the Day
I’m late today, super sorry. In my defense, I was busy at court this morning && I took a nap. Fuck Family Law rules...ugh. Ok, so I was looking at another underground song or something. Like I said, I want to showcase indie shit. Hence, today’s Rainbow Pride song comes from Detroit garage rock band Electric Six. They got kind of popular for this song && due to the Iraq War, they had to edit the words “nuclear” and “war” out. The song does sound a bit political to me or it could’ve just been a joke. The singer did mention that he wrote the song after misinterpreting the lyrics to a Devo song playing at a club. Anyway, enjoy!
6.15 I guess

Been hyped for new QOTSA for a while. This dropped today and.....it’s something! Definitely a style change for them, but it’s just one single so it is really early to judge. I like it, it’s different, but I don’t get the QOTSA vibe. I feel like Josh threw in EODM, Arctic Monkeys and the Strokes into a blender and this is what poured out. A lot of hardcore fans are pretty split on how they feel about this song, and I am worried that this will be another repeat of similar comebacks lately, see Gorillaz. Fingers crossed for the album.
