I was listening to YYY’s this morning && I have to say, New York produced awesome rock at the beginning of the 21st century. Scissor Sisters is part of that New York rock explosion. The band embodied the gay nightclub life of NY && here we have this song featuring Elton John discussing how shitty this world is when faced with adversity. Many meanings can be discussed but I personally believe it’s how shitty life can be for those who identify as part of the lgbtqia+ community && the trials they face when dealing with society. The song is called “Intermission” && I hope you can enjoy it!

Live version for the youtube link cause copyright =/ Hauntingly beautiful track by the amazing Radiohead. Intrigued by Thom’s fascinated with UFO’s. I kind of see this as a spiritual successor to Subterranean Homesick Alien. The bassline carries the song nicely while also building up anticipation for the satisfying “sweet dark” climax. Favorite track of the super wonderful Moon Shaped Pool. Glad to have these guys back in top form.
