What a difference a day makes…
Today I woke up tired and drowsy, probably from the Tramadol and yesterday’s intensity. Felt really down this morning, but after a slow start, a hot shower, good breakfast and some rest, my mood shifted in the afternoon. I started to feel better, even physically. I even made dinner and danced around the kitchen like usual. There’s something so resilient about finding your way back to those little moments of joy, even after the heaviest days.
I’m in bed now, tired again but not the same defeated exhaustion as last night. This feels different. Softer. Yesterday I could barely move. Today I danced while making dinner. Sometimes your spirit just finds its way back to itself.
Somehow, my heart found its way back today. The pain is still there, but so is the part of me that dances. And sometimes that’s everything.
