june was a pretty stressful month, mostly due to this loveable troublemaker. for those who haven’t seen in my ig stories- back in early june, tipu stopped eating. me and the husband took him to his vet in town, who ran tests and it came back that he had built up ketones and was in the process of going dka. so we rush him over to the animal hospital, where he stayed for a week. he came back home with a feeding tube and prescription for a new type of (expensive, human) insulin. 🥺 within a week, he had a hypoglycemic seizure- and i came home to an unresponsive cat. back to the hospital, where he stayed for the weekend. by the following week, he started having convulsions again, but i managed to get him to stabilize. by that time (and 20k later), tipu was declared to be in diabetic remission 😵‍💫 over the last weekend, he finally got his feeding tube out, despite not needing it for several weeks. financially, me and husbando are under A TON of stress- so far we have about 8k left to pay- not counting any interest accrued. but at least we have our boy back 💕 All that being said- im politely asking if anyone has it in their heart (and/or wallet) to help us out a bit- my cashapp is $misspepita and my venmo is KgKg-42069 🙏🏻

Sorry for the absence! In the last month I’ve bought and partially-moved into a new house, got married, aaaand took on tons of new responsibilities at work 😭 “I’ve been busy” is an understatement at this point. So here’s a cat photo to make up for missed time 😸 lol
