to everyone who was good friends with athena: i am so sorry. she was such a beautiful lil angel and she didnt deserve to be taken away so young. she had such a good heart and mind and soul and it kills me bc i never really got to know her. she helped me out with a few things, but other than that i never really knew her. she’ll be in my heart and i’m sendig the most positive vibes to everyone. stay strong for her, she’s in a happier place.

Look up brooke candy and learn that it's okay to take the word back! Being a queer woman I completely support the use of the word fag because I'm fag and I'm proud of it. If someone where to tell that to me on the streets id be like "hell yeah", not everything has to hurt you. Take power away from the word

only i never said or implied that it was a bad thing to reclaim a slur. if anything that’s a good thing.

if you’re going to reclaim a slur you must recognise why it is offensive in the first place. having pride associated with the word is great but to completely ignore the fact that it is an offensive term used to dehumanize queer people is just so goddamn ignorant. you cannot reclaim a slur if you’re going to ignore its meaning as a slur and excuse hateful uses of it (especially from people who don't have any right to use it). if your understanding of the f slur is ”OH WELL IT MEANS GAY AND GAY ISN’T BAD!! SLUR NOT OFFENSIVE!!!!” then i really do not know how i’m supposed to communicate with you.

if you let people get away with hateful uses of slurs and you make fun of people who are offended and/or triggered by them (because god forbid people don’t like words that are used to mock and dehumanize them), then you are not helping. you are just being fucking ignorant.
