reading mangahood meta that doesnt actually mention its about mangahood is so..... jarring because i'll be reading and reading and thinking "what is this person talking about?? am i tripping???" and after a few minutes i will remember abt the mangahood plot. like mangahood metas read like really shitty fma metas until you remember that fma 03 isnt,, the default fma storyline for most people.

"olivier is a lesbian" headcanons are on thin ice... like yeah she is but the fact that her character is the "aggressive man hating woman, but it's hilarious because she's super feminine in appearance" and she was written, as comedy, by a straight woman is so gross...... and that mixed with her awful ideology just makes me so uncomfortable. so just be critical about it especially if youre not a wlw

aaaand now i'm remembering that the point of martel's death in brotherhood was to give al a reason to remember the gate/learn circle-less transmutation. ugh. 03 does it better with the deaths of 14,000 amestrian soldiers (including kimblee), who had been attempting to carry out a genocide, unlocking those memories lolol
