Today, Romano fell over while walking, and he had to find bandaids to put on the wound. There were none, so he had to ask a neighbor.

#ReviveLove Tour - Nashville
Scarritt Bennit Center 1008 19th Avenue
Join Black Lives of Unitarian Universalism, Rev. Sekou & the Holy Ghost, and Standing on the Side of Love #ReviveLove - an evening of political and spiritual sustenance for organizers and activists in Nashville. We're thrilled to be collaborating with local leaders of Southerners on New Ground (SONG), Black Lives Matter, Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ), and Scarritt Bennett Center for this event. This is our second stop across the South where we have heard the immediate and urgent call for support and flanking of movement leaders. We are responding. We know that the South historically is under resourced in terms of movement building and faith-based organizing support. Stay tuned here and by following #ReviveLove for more information as we finalize the event details. Grand Rapids African American Art & Music Celebration
The boundless artistic contributions of African-Americans will be highlighted during the inaugural Grand Rapids African-American Art and Music Celebration, part of ArtPrize 2015. The two-day event, Friday, Sept. 25 (5–10 p.m.) and Saturday, Sept. 26 (Noon–10 p.m.) at Calder Plaza, will immerse the community in art, music, dance and food reflecting the many facets of the city's diversity. According to Celebration Chairman Don Everette, president of the Grand Rapids Diversity in Art and Music Festival, Inc., his committee's work to re-establish an African-American event in Grand Rapids, in cooperation with ArtPrize, reflects the community's desire to express its shared values and belief that excellence is best achieved through diversity. Everette says the celebration enhances the Paul Collins Diversity in Art Award that honors a selected ArtPrize artist who celebrates diversity in their art. The Paul Collins Diversity in Art Award celebrates the enormous contributions that local artist Paul Collins has made to the art world and to further enrich the diversity of ArtPrize. Organizers selected the internationally recognized artist Paul Collins to represent the spirit and intention of this award.
