Song of the Day

On such a horrible day for many in Mexico, today for Mexico, lindo y querido’s song I would like to share the anthem that is tattooed in our hearts. I was born in California to Mexican parents && every time I listen to the Mexican anthem or I see the Mexican flag waving in the air, I can’t help but tear up for a country that I carry so deep inside me. I’m proud to be where I’m from; however, my culture is my culture. Today, I urge all of you to please share any donation pages or sources so we can all help Mexico during such a devastating time. The earthquake hit a region that is filled with many people that struggle to survive with whatever economic means they have. Now, they’ve woken up to death && missing loved ones, buildings destroyed && in need of helping hands. If I hear of any source, I’ll keep you updated. For now, enjoy one of the most beautiful anthems in the world. Also, I’ve posted a video where the military─in a lovely ceremony─is putting up the Mexican flag. As I watched it now, I couldn’t help the tears. Te amo Mexico. Chulo mi pais.
