For 0hemmings bc she's 5 months clean from her ed and I'm so excited so we are celebrating. Send in prompts if you want bc this is party. •/• "Kayleigh." Luke whispered in an attempt to wake you. "Kayleigh!" He yelled, well, as much as one can yell while whispering. He nudged your shoulder, but you had never been one to wake easily. He placed his hands on your side and gently pushed you, rolling you off of the bed. You landed with a thump, consciousness coming with a shriek. You sit up, dazed from just having woken up. "What the..." You groan, stopping only after seeing your best friend sitting on your bed. You narrow your eyes at him. "You're difficult to wake up." He states with a shrug. With mixed emotions of anger and happiness, you tackle him with a hug off of the bed and onto the floor on the other side. You land on top of him, causing him to release an 'oof' as you crashed. "I'm so happy you're home! Pushing me off of my bed was definitely not the best way you could have woken me, but I'm glad you found a way because I haven't seen you in so long and it's so good to see you!" -'not in a dream' you think. "What should we do?!" You ask, still on him. "Uh, I'm kinda tired. I just wanted to head to bed. I only wanted to say hi before I went to sle-" You cut him off because there's no way he's just going to sleep now. "No. No, you are not just going to bed. You are not getting up until you agree to at least watch a movie." You wait a moment and he sighs in defeat, knowing he will not be able to win this argument and not really wanting to. You let out a slight, quiet cheer as you stand and help him up. As soon as he's on his feet, he grabs you and throws you over his shoulder, carrying you down the stairs. "Lucas! Do not drop me! I will drop-kick you!" You smack his back, which is much more toned than the last time you saw him. He releases you onto the couch, grabbing a movie to watch. When the main menu appears, you give him a look of disapproval. "No, as funny as it is, we are not watching Anchorman. I got Titanic, which you somehow have not seen yet, to watch when you got home, which you are now, and we are watching that." You go get the movie and put it in the DVR. By the time you return to the couch, Luke has laid down on it, taking up its entirety. "Lucas, if you do not move I will sit on you, you piece of garbage." He makes no sign of moving and you follow through, taking a seat on the side of his legs until he makes room for you to lie in front of him. "If I fall..." You grumble. "I will laugh." He says, though he wraps his arms around you to prevent you from doing so. Within minutes the two of you fall asleep. -- You wake again around 9 o'clock, still wrapped in Luke's arms on the couch. Knowing he must be tired, you gently attempt to remove yourself from the tangled of your combine limbs to make breakfast. However, your attempt fails as you feel a long, warm breath on your neck. "What on earth are you doing?" Luke groans, his voice low and tired, words stringing together. "I was going to make breakfast. You're probably tired." You respond. "Well, change of plans." He wraps his arms tighter around you, pulling you closer. You feel his nose moving through your hair, against your head as he shakes his. "You're staying right here. No moving allowed." You comply, perfectly content with remaining in his arms for the rest of your life. You destroy the remaining millimetres between the two of you, managing to bring yourself closer to him still. "Kayleigh, I missed you." He murmurs, words still slurring together with his tiredness. "I missed you, too, honey." You retort, smiling. "No, Kaleigh, I really-" he yawns, "really missed you. I don't want to be gone again. I don't like leaving you. It makes me sad." Just his tone causes you to frown and think of the next time he'll have to leave. "Me too, pumpkin, but it's not like you can just quit the band." Sometimes you wish he could, but he loves it so much and the boys are like his brothers. You could never mention it to him, even if you wanted to. "No, but you could come with me. We could see the world and you could come to concerts and I could show you everything. We wouldn't have to miss each other anymore." He says. "Only one thing could possible make it better." He continues. You don't know how that could possibly be. "What could be better, Lukey? That sounds perfect." You reply. "It'd be even better if you'd come as my girlfriend. You could be with me, by my side and you'd be there for me at every concert so I could sing everything to you and for you like I want to. I can protect you and have you near me and I can't think of anything I could want more. I could really love you and I really do love you already but I could show you and I just don't want to be away from you anymore." You freeze, nearly unable to breathe. You can hardly comprehend what he's saying. As his arms begin to release you, regret laying heavy in his limbs, you grab his hand, kissing the back of it gently. "No-yes! I-yes. I would love y-love to! I-I do, I love you, sweetheart."
