Our culture of no pain no gain, protestant work ethic, just push through it etc is so detrimental I stg. Congrats, they listened to you and refused to rest and now they're even worse off.
I remember how whenever I'd get sick with anything, my health freak father would insist I get lots of exercise. It doesn't even make sense. How the hell does me going for a jog get rid of the flu. The body is working so hard to fight. It has limited energy stores. Sick people need rest.
I was thinking of suggesting feeding old man mcgucket to the baby pterodactyl, but I decided against it.
