The difference 5 years makes.

Wyatt passed away last year, this is his last hurrah on this blog. His colouring may have changed (marbling gene) but his personality never did. Awesome fish.

Ember has been doing his best to care for things since Wyatt's passing. His best is different, but just as good. Betta are awesome fish.

rest of the day went mostly fine though there was a sticky moment with regards to the day's plans lol

we drove to Inglewood to pick up my mom and uncle. saw that lifted Lincoln when we headed to my SIL. i love taking photos of my niece beating up my nephew with random objects like the giant goose. why was my camera so greasy?!?? i love an orange tree on a gloomy day (california culture baby). we had delicious pan con pavo at my SILs and we saw a couple cats throughout the day but only got a photo of this gorgeous one in my uncle's neighborhood.

anyway, im taking journaling and slowness and thoughtfulness VERY seriously this year.
