Charisse Turner was parked along the shoulder of I-64 in search of help after getting a flat tire. Soon enough another motorist stopped to lend a hand. Turner was walking back over to her car when she was hit by John Hueneman, whose 1992 Mercury ran off the side of the road and sideswiped her vehicle. Turner later died of the injuries she sustained. Hueneman was changed with reckless driving. It does not appear that alcohol played a role in the crash.
