Hi, I’ve just finished reading through your posts on your Ozpin lives au and I’m obsessed! I think the idea of Oz being made out of aura is so cool. Also I had a thought: What if there was a moment where Ozpin’s body started shifting through his past incarnations since it’s made of aura. Maybe he’s just woken up from dreams about his past lives, or a memory is triggered for him. It could be a rapid change, if he’s overwhelmed, or more subtle. Imagine if, when captured by Salem, Oz instinctively shifts to look a bit more like Ozma/ the second incarnation and then feels terrified by it.
Do you have any more headcannons about the au you’d like to share?
OOOOOO your brain is huge that's such a cool idea. I would imagine maybe he also gets flickers of other incarnations' aura colors when someone's influence gets particularly strong. It's all just such a fun way to imply that the merge isn't perhaps as all encompassing as it is made out to be in the show, and maybe also implies ozpin still has some of his own unique personality in there
Unfortunately I don't have a whole lot in the headcanon department as of late. Though perhaps… story-wise, it would be pretty interesting if ozpin and blake got to have a chat after the jinn incident regarding their relationships with certain people and ESPECIALLY the urge to run away (I don't remember it too well, but it could also work as a parallel to their conversation in volume two?). Since ozpin can't exactly hide in oscars brain in this au, it leaves him a lot more vulnerable but also with a lot more opportunity for interesting and totally not stressful conversations >:)
