10.08.16 One year ago today, the young pup we adopted/picked up from the streets of Mikesell gave birth to 8 puppies! 🐶 Girlie, despite her age and size, managed to give birth to 8 healthy, beautiful pups. We had the other six adopted (with help from our dogs' vet) and kept not one... but two (the second was my fault lol -- so now we have 8 DOGS BYEEE). I remember Mama waking me up in the dead of the night (3am to be exact) to go investigate our dirty kitchen (where we left Girlie the night before, thinking she might go into labor anytime during the night) because she claims she heard little cries coming from that part of the house. Lo and behold, 7 PUPS WERE THERE ALREADY! I remember being so in awe because that was the first time in my entire life that I got to see newborn (like literal day-old) puppies. We both thought Girlie was stopping at 7 babies... and then a little blob popped out of her! That was the first time I saw a bitch giving birth OMFG!!!! 😅😂😅 Here are the two puppies we kept -- Timmi and Tammy. Both girls. And the biggest tomboys evarrrr.
