Every now and then you find an artist who totally get it. The need for US to inspire, motivate, promote and uplift each other. Yes, the picture is red and that happens to be the color at the moment. However, the last part of the caption she attached was spot on (SEE BELOW). So, here it goes… one artist supporting another… supporting another!!! Meet Maryland’s own, Debbie Miller. Prints of her beautiful florals are available via her feed @debbierosemiller… #artonwednesdays 🎨
“Inspired by a photo from @alisonmcwhirter as part of my #100daysofencouragement project. I love how she uses texture and color to communicate her floral compositions. I tried mixing modeling paste into my paints today in an attempt to get some of the rich impasto of McWhirter’s work. I don’t think I was terribly successful, but it was fun trying. If you aren’t following this Glasgow-based painter, please check out her work and start following her. And think about dropping her a word of encouragement — because it’s good to #encourageartists #supportlivingartists #bepartofthesolution #practicegratitude and #sharethelove” ~ Debbie Miller
