Laundry day! 🧺 My clothes are folded and put away, but what to do with the used dryer sheets? Most can't be recycled, though some brands like Method and Seventh Generation are made with unbleached paper and essential oils, which means they can be composted. We tried switching to wool dryer balls (and we also air-dry quite a bit, so we only use one or two of these a week) but we still like our Bounce dye-free, fragrance-free sheets. Instead of tossing them right away, I've started saving them in my sewing basket. I can use them as tracing paper for projects, cleaning rags, and other stuff I haven't even tried yet. If you must use them, at least reuse them. (link to apartment therapy's list of used dryer sheet uses is in my profile today: https://www.apartmenttherapy.com/20-household-uses-for-used-yes-46912) They can lubricate stuck scissors, clean up soap scum, and repel dust! #100dayproject #100daysofrecyclingandreuse Shout out to my friend Non at @youmeempathy podcast with whom I keep meaning to chat about the self-care effects of cleaning and organizing (I got a new tee 👕 with his podcast logo because my other one's a bit snug on me at the moment due to some wishful sizing 🤦🏻♀️) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bwx4PdDJESm/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1xgrz1clwwksi
