🌷🌷🌷 For those keeping score... 2 rejections today. Well, maybe 1 and 7/8. One yeah, a no. The second, well that one is interesting. It’s a real fancy art show and to be honest I have no business applying. I don’t have a professional art booth. And I certainly don’t have professional photos. I also do not have any statement pieces to jury in with, which I also know is the reason I get told no a lot. I’m basically juring in with wholesale production pieces so if you think of that way, it’s kind of impressive I get in anything at all. I wasn’t going to apply because hey, how many times can I throw $40 to the wind? But I left a great deal of #FOMO, yes it happens to everyone, even me who is okay missing out. I saw a bunch of artists on FB talking about how great of a show it is. Well, I got waitlisted. Which is the limbo land. Not good enough to get in but maybe good enough if some people can’t make it. Normally I hate this because you can’t make any plans and you are on standby. But in this case, I’m actually kind of honored to even make it that far in the application process. My goal is mid April when I have a week off after @Craftcation and after Best of The Northwest I am going to spend a week on just some show stoppers. I’m trying to be better about taking my rejections into consideration and seeing what I could do better. I phone it in a lot simply because I don’t have time. The summer is already full, but those Holiday apps are already popping up. Thanks @thetiffanyhan for the inspiration to keep on keepin on. #100rejectionletters https://www.instagram.com/p/BvUFedZnoJo/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1mcvauq59ffcp
