Congradurations on our 100th Comic!

I'm pleased and excited. I didn't have big plans when I started Yours Trudy a year ago later this month. I didn't even contemplate on her name. Yours Trudy was the most immediate dumbest pun I could think of, and I stuck with it.

We have a small following, but like with my predecessor comic series, I wasn't doing it for the readership. I'm doing it for the fun of it. Having you all here makes it more worth my time, for sure.

It took two years and one advent calendar special for Hopeless Optimism to reach its hundredth comic, because coming up with non-sequitur jokes each time was hard.

With Yours Trudy, I did it by filling it with continuity and padded it with a story of sorts, along with the other jokes regarded as filler. Doing it this way not only engaged you guys, but it kept me going too. I want these characters to grow.

I have a good buffer going and many other stories in the pipeline. Thank you for enjoying Yours Trudy and please look forward to more.

You've waited for 100 comics, but finally... here they are: Uncle Fettuccine and Aunt Cannelloni

Uncle Fettuccine: the manager of Pie's Pizzeria who built the restaurant from the ground up (It's his only excuse). In his younger days, he was MUCH more active - he ran the kitchen, he taught Jasper everything he knew, he even drove Jasper to college every day. But once Jasper graduated... he lost the will to be productive. Instead, he became more content to sit in his office, drink hard Cider, and make Jasper and Cannelloni carry him around. His back legs became so skinny and weak from lack of use, he can barely walk without falling over, so they fixed him in a wheelchair (Which he deems as "disrespectful) He also became incredibly self-righteous - constantly talking about all he did in the past, and calling Jasper a "FAILURE" to make himself still feel in control... though to be honest, he couldn't manage a bowl of Jell-O!

Aunt Cannelloni: to co-manager of Pie's Pizzeria. She's more energetic than her husband -in fact, she has a second job as a fitness instructor in Cloudsdale). She loves Jasper deeply and instilled some of her optimism onto him (And a bit of her crazy attitude). Unfortunately, she also passed on most of her frustration with Fettuccine onto Jasper as well -she feels bad he has to help his uncle, but she can't fix Fettu if he won't fix himself. She tells Jasper not to confront him.... but she breaks her own rule sometimes when she wants to call Fettu out on his crap/prove she's right.

I don't wanna say too much, but let's just say they're based on two real-life people in my life.

Yesterday we reached our 100th comic! Woohoo!

So today the 100th Adorkable Twilight & Friends comic was uploaded... or maybe like 105 or something... I don’t know for sure.  Point is, I want to thank you all for your support.  This series almost didn’t become reality.  When I first released it, no one... NO ONE read it.  But somehow, thanks to some wonderful people and all of you, it has grown to the size it is today.  So thank you so much!  I hope you all have a great weekend.
