George recording Wonderwall Music at EMI Recording Studio, Bombay, India, on 10th January 1968. George flew to India on the 7th January, starting work on the 9th. Most of the work was complete by the 12th of January, so in order to make the most of his studio time, he recorded some additional ragas that he thought might be suitable for future Beatles recordings. One of these became The Inner Light.
