John lennon was a man who was alive- this is to say, I have no idea what the fuck he was doing most of the time and he was a weird and racist man who needed to zip his trap.

This fact can exist at the same time as the fact that he made beautiful songs mostly. Blackbird and Beautiful Boy (Darling Boy) make me tear up every time I hear them. The line "Every day, in every way, is getting better and better" got me through one of the worst times of my life because he was right. It can get better.
