Leading up to #onnitinvitational6 I was terrified, nervous, honored, excited, and all kinds of other emotions. I went onto the mats feeling confident and calm. I knew she would be attacking my legs, but I sat too long on the second heel hook and got caught. While I’m disappointed and embarrassed in my performance, I’m beyond grateful for the experience I had here at @onnitgymatx and @10patx I met some AMAZING athletes and got to be a part of something big. I know what I need to work on to improve, and I’ll be back again better than ever. Thank you mom and dad for all you do to make this possible for me. Thank you @grizlymn for putting up with me and supporting me through all the ups and downs. Thank you @abirchakmma and @mercedestucson for giving me hope and confidence in myself. I’ve said it before, I couldn’t have got here without you two. You’ve helped me see where I can go, and the potential that I have. What you’ve done with @10ptucson is nothing short of amazing. Thank you to all my 10p family that got me ready for this opportunity. Thank you Onnit and everyone at 10th Planet Austin for making me feel at home while I was there. I’ll be back!!! And THANK YOU to everyone who tuned into the live stream to watch me. I’m sorry I didn’t put on a longer and better show, but knowing I had people watching and supporting me back home meant the world to me. I hope you’ll continue to watch me as I continue to learn and grow. #onnit #onnitinvitational #jiujitsu #10thplanet #10planetaustin #10thplanetjiujitsu #10ptucson #10thplanettucson #10thplanettucsonjiujitsu #vegan #veganathlete #workharder #trainharder (at 10th Planet Austin)
