Thank you all for taking a trip down memory lane with me this week! It's been a great time to reflect on what we have accomplished and also look forward to the future. It all kind of blows my mind. The one word that I can use to describe the past decade-of-being-a-freelancer is that it has all grown organically. People, clients, and opportunity have presented themselves and I am beyond grateful for all of it. Yet, in many ways, I feel like this is just the beginning still. Looking forward, I am open and excited. I have even bigger dreams and lofty goals and I can't wait to see where it takes us! Our team is stronger than ever and the work is at its best. This picture is one of my current favorites from my recent trip to Japan. It was shot with my film camera and is simply the perfect moment. I feel like this time in life right now is the perfect moment and it's really because of all you believing in this dream and supporting the #10YearHustle Tomorrow we celebrate. Hell yeah.
The 2014 March issue of @mspmag was a memorable one for me. It marked my first cover for this publication and also was a game-changer for me. @lizgrdnr was the creative director on this at the time and we really found our stride to the beautiful / magical collaboration we have together. This image is one of my all-time-favorites of that year! If you pay close attention, it's of @chefthomasb's notes & sketches for @cornertablempls! I've looked at this image so many times and it reminds me of the amount of detail and process that goes into every project, photograph or plate of food. It was also the start of #fromwhereistandontables I'm also going to take this moment to thank the entire staff of @mspmag - you are a pleasure to work with and I have loved sharing your stories with our city! #10YearHustle
2009 was a defining year for us, as we came into our own a bit with some rad projects. I'm still incredibly proud of this fashion feature we did for Metro Magazine, which was a concept we pitched and all worked so hard for.
