I regret to announce that Charles E. Scovil has passed away on November 10th, 2020. He was 92-years-old.
Charles was a former president of the American Association of Variable Star Observers (AAVSO) (1973-1975), former director of the Stamford Observatory, and major contributor to the AAVSO star charts.
Thank you for your contributions to the field of Astronomy, grandpa. You made me proud to be a member of this family.
