HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!
THANKS ANON CHAN!!
bout time i start posting here now that the database is done i actually have information all in one convenient place to sort through. i think i'll go on a short ramble because rambling is actually one thing that helps my plots along the most....
Elle Chandler (ironically named 2 years ago before I knew what CTR was) is a character i've had chilling in my mind for a long time now. my dad started cleaning these model homes a long time ago and i used to go with him in order to get dinner (wow now that i say it out loud i got jipped). so i'd just vacuum and listen to music. well one winter a couple of years ago we were cleaning this monster of a house. and i mean monster. and i was just thinking damn son whoever moves into this thing is going to be stinkin' loaded. and then i started thinking as i continued to vacuum alone with my ipod of this idea for a girl.
elle is the daughter of this wealthy-ass dude and her family is just the stereotypical rich people. her mother is a bleach blonde, tiny dog-toting, boob-jobbing, soccer mom. she is based off of one of my childhood best friend's mom. like every time my family got a new car, she did too - like always having to one up anyone and being convinced their kid is god's gift to the earth no matter what they're like. elle's older brother is just a complete douchebag and he (sadly) is based off of my other childhood best friend. his parents get him whatever the fuck he wants when he wants it. he drives a sports car and played sports in all these fancy leagues and has this huge room and buys all of his girlfriends. well he is an athlete because he essentially doesn't have the brains for anything else and his father funds every team he's ever been on and makes generous donations to the kids' school. elle also has a younger sister who aspires to be a model so all her time is spent looking up to celebrities on TV and getting new makeup and all this garbage. she has an iPhone at 6 and is the world's biggest brat. then there's Mr. Chandler himself who is a really shady lawyer who is always out of town or busy with something. he is obsessed with image so he wants his family to project an aura of perfection. he wants his wife to be bleach blonde an at his hip at all times when he's home. he wants his son to play sports and excel at everything and he wants his daughters to look perfect and marry wealthy. well, elle spent half of her life trying to be that perfect daughter and fit the rich girl persona but upon entering high school she realized that everyone hated her family. her brother broke away from the stereotype by growing into his looks and buying his friends, but she realized she didn't want to do that. so she decided to go out and get a job and live like a normal girl.
well her father wouldn't have it and her entire family got pissed at her for doing that and just completely started going off on her. her father was just so angry because of his image and her brother kept getting on her about quitting. however, she stood her ground and continued to work and study and just live her life despite the money and everything her parents tried to force feed her. all she wanted was respect. so she's working at this restaurant and the bus boy introduces himself to her and claims he knows her from school. he's this chubby guy who seems to have it rough at home. apparently he's at her school on this scholarship and works a job in order to pay for his car so he can drive there since his parents can't help him. she soon starts hanging around him at school and figures out that the rest of the students in their grade absolutely detest him because first off, he's a poor kid in a rich kid's school, he's not exactly the cutest guy around, and he's also gay.
but those reasons only make her stick to him like glue. soon the two are completely outcasted and elle's father learns about her friendship with the kid. he goes batshit crazy and her brother even gets angry. her mother, however, being in her own little dizzy world doesn't care. her father warns her to drop the kid or he'll start taking away her things but elle really doesn't care because she's so done with the whole rich people image. sure she wants to have money and be financially stable but she wants to do it at a normal level away from the image and the competition and the snotty spoiled brats. well her friend also just wants to get away. he's only interested in graduating so he can go on to college and study political science but he wants to just get away from california.
so as graduation nears, the two are just getting picked on so terribly at school and made fun of. elle's getting it at home as well and one night she gets into this massive fight with her father and accidentally says something about what she really thinks of him and the family and it sends him over the edge. she goes to her friend's house and stays with him and learns about his actual home life as well - in a tiny apartment with an alcoholic mother. upon returning home, elle is completely fed up with everything and as she's going to her room, she overhears her brother and his girlfriend talking about how elle is going to ruin everything for the family - and how she's a waste of an inheritance and how he wishes he could just get rid of her. well this scares the shit out of her. soon her friend's bullying problem at school gets worse too when kids start throwing things at him and following him home. she actually takes a rock to the face trying to defend him.
the two finally make a decision just before graduation as things come to a head when her friend expresses his desperation and she voices her fears as her brother starts to really scare her. so in the middle of the night, elle packs up her car and drives to get him and the two of them run away with the money she had saved over the years. they planned to go to new york, but their stunt, as she had expected, catches the attention of her father in the worst way and he reports the car stolen and claims she had been kidnapped by her friend to authorities.
well i won't say anymore details because that would just give away all of the story. but the bottom line of that story is that they're escaping their old lives but soon people are chasing after them that seem to want to kill them and before they know it, they're running for their lives and become national attention in the process as a result of the kidnapper story her father puts out there. but when someone finds elle and claims to know the truth about how her father obtained his riches as well as his past, she realizes the truth about how strange her family had always been. meanwhile her best friend suspects that her father has sent people after them to kill them so that he can a) get his troublesome daughter and her gay best friend out of the way of his image and b) obtain that sob story for national news, bringing him into an even brighter spotlight.
so thats all ramble done.
