I throw the word 'love' around so freely "Oh my god, I love that!" If someone does something that I like or think is absolutely hilarious, I'll be like "Oh my god I love you!" 😂😂 If I see a piece of art or a cute picture, 'I love that' will fall right out of my mouth.. So when I say I like you, that isn't thrown around so freely I feel it rise up from the depths of me as I try to push it past my throat and let it fall off my lips "I like you" makes me weak in the stomach as if you're two inches away from my kissing my mouth "I like you" says you matter to me "I like you" is my 'okay' Our 'NOTHING' It says what I'm too afraid to let be heard yet It says it without saying it "I like you" is the butterflies in my stomach speaking for me "I like you" Means I'm happy with things right now 'I like you' keeps it just as we are 'I like you' says I'm falling, but don't catch me yet This song by Gabrielle Aplin says it perfectly "Please don't say you love me, 'cause I might not say it back. Doesn't mean my heart stops skipping when you look at me like that"~ ~"Fools rush in, and I've been a fool before. Pulled up to a stoplight, looked over to the car to my left, and there you were, pink dress, dreads down with your bangs up, and that resting glare you have when you think no one is looking.
