its been a bit of an old school runescape season these past 2 months for me, between the release of sailing and the new gielinor games season starting ive been consuming so much osrs content and playing it too

i wanted to draw one of (if not my favorite) mage armor looks in the game the bloodbark set, i love it so much i wish they did more colors for it

me having to explain to people that the reason i like runescape isn’t because of the mmo rpg elements or the lore or whatever it’s purely because it’s deadly unserious. npcs will look you in the eye and call you out for using a quest guide. your player character never knows what’s happening ever. there’s a side quest where a mad scientist accidentally turned some guy into a chicken. there are so many quests that are just blatant parodies of pop culture and the public domain. there have been several updates to the game that have just been fixing typos in quest dialogue. you’ll be given talk interaction options for corpses and then the game will basically call you stupid for trying to talk to the dead body. evil bob.

Gemstone Crab - Old School RuneScape

A big ol'd crab with crystals growing on it! It doesn't actually die when defeated, it simply burrows away while leaving a bit of its gem-encrusted shell on the ground.

Crab immortality! It does not seem to have a face, so I wonder if it's just hidden or if it is a rock elemental of some kind.
