Cannon Beach, Or / Moody Skies in December
A bit of a rainbow on the Oregon Coast.
Oregon weather is so crazy. I love it though. I first went to Cannon Beach yesterday and the weather was partly sunny, windy, with a few clouds. It was kind of cold.
After about an hour, I left and went to another beach a little south of Cannon Beach. The weather was cold, rainy and windy when I arrived. Which I was happy about. I love hiking in the rain. But all that changed during my walk. And it changed again. And again. Here's the time lapse.
When I first arrived. Looking south at 2:18pm. Rainy and cold.
Walked South to the end of the beach.
Looking north at 2:57 pm. No rain. Warm. And mostly sunny.
Walked back north.
Looking south at 3:25pm. Rainy and cold again. The picture below is showing where I was standing in the previous picture.
Overlooking the beach at 3:35pm. Clearing back up again.
When anxious, uneasy and bad thoughts come, I go to the sea, and the sea drowns them out with its great wide sounds, cleanses me with its noise, and imposes a rhythm upon everything in me that is bewildered and confused.
