i think we almost kissed today.

i can’t remember what we were dancing it out for. one of us was just upset and that’s it. that’s our go to. it always helps. so we danced it out.

next thing i knew, though, that pretty dainty nose of hers was touching mine and her pink upper lip that i day dream about was this fucking close and–

and poppy broke the silence with “can we change the song? we always dance to this.” i think i’m glad she did. i can’t risk that kind of closeness. i can’t.
