I watched the most incredible sunrise this morning. Waking up before the rest of the world and getting to enjoy something like that is worth crawling out of my warm bed, for sure.
Today was challenging diet-wise. I wasn’t feeling well late morning and made myself soup for lunch, but ended up eating a lot more of it than I’d have liked, plus had a treat my husband brought home from the store with him. Everything balances out in the end; I’ll just have to try harder over the next few days.
Going to my mothers house tonight for a family get together. Grateful to be close enough to see one another with frequency, although feeling more than a little ready to pause the “family time” for a few weeks post-holidays…
