Mutant Cyborg Orc by Enrique de la Verde, Part 1: Sculpt
From Enrique:
I have called this one “Mutant Cyborg Orc”. He lost his arm and part of his head in combat. Fortunately, he was mended with advanced technology. But, he suffered various processes with toxic compounds; as a result, his arm mutated acquiring a huge strength. I start with it defining a basic human body; then I create the fingers because they suppose the slightest reference for the rest of the volumes. I refine a little the skeleton adding points and modifying the scale; in this case, where the symmetry is not required in the arms and the head, I do not use many more details. Later, I bake the figure. I define the arms with ‘grab tool’, I use ‘flatten tool’ for the mechanical arm and ‘sharpen tool’ to define the hardest edges. Finally, I add the volumes in general until getting into the details. Check back soon for Part 2: Painting!
