April 7, 2018 to April 27, 2018 Opening Reception Sunday April 8, 3 – 5 pm Public Hours Fridays + Saturdays 1 – 4 Artist Statement I work in oils, dry pastel, charcoal, and pencil, but this show is primarily of charcoal drawings. Charcoal is my favorite medium. It has an immediacy and flexibility that allows me to dig in physically with hands, fingers, and erasers. Nature is my inspiration, but with charcoal, the medium becomes an important part of the subject.
