Hey dear,
How are you? I hope you're feeling great, atleast okay.
I hope you feel the fresh air in your lungs, the blood in your venes. I hope you have a clear mind - but if not, then that's okay too. You'll get better, love. Hopefully you'll get.Do you know how beautiful your angelic smile looks like? How cute your dimples are? Smile my love! Smile and feel good! Thank you for everything. For everything you have done for us. For every life lesson. I have so much respect.
I love you Joon and many others do too.

This video shows how I handled the wire and how I operated it in order to create the scratched marks into the black paint. The scratching sound could sometimes be unpleasant so I had my earphones in and music playing whilst making this piece.
Tuesday 12th September
We were given some new images to experiment with. Today I decided I would experiment by layering several coats of a material on top of itself to see if overlaying would cause the medium to change properties.
I stretched my cartridge paper so that it would dry flat, and painted three layers of black acrylic paint on top. Once dry, I used a strand of metal wire to scratch into the surface. The overall effect is very similar to that of a graphite pencil. Reflecting on this work, I think it would have been better if I had painted the second layer in a colour other than black so that when I scratched away into the paint, it would have revealed the colour underneath. I will revisit this piece at a later date.
Furthermore, I layered PVA onto my monoprinted piece, only applying PVA to the more portrait rectangular shapes. I was hoping the PVA would eventually start to bulk up and would become raised from the paper, however after six layers I was seeing no noticeable difference and therefore decided to suspend this experiment.
